Privacy Policy.

Last Updated: March 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how S3 Manager ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information. Our primary philosophy is simple: Your data is your data. We do not collect, store, or share your personal information, your S3 credentials, or your files.

2. What Information Do We Collect?

None.

S3 Manager does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, analytics, crash logs, or telemetry on our servers.

3. How We Handle Your S3 Credentials and Data

  • Local Storage Only: Your Access Keys, Secret Keys, and endpoint configurations are stored locally and securely on your device.
  • Direct Connection: When you use the App, it communicates directly with the APIs of your chosen S3-compatible cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Backblaze, MinIO).
  • No Intermediaries: Your files, photos, videos, and credentials are never routed through our servers. We have absolutely no access to your buckets or the data contained within them.

4. Third-Party Services

Because the App connects directly to your S3 provider, the privacy practices regarding your actual stored data and API requests are governed by your chosen provider (e.g., the AWS Privacy Notice).

If you download S3 Manager through an app store (such as Google Play), that store may collect standard installation analytics and crash data according to their own privacy policies.

5. Security

The security of your data relies entirely on the security of the device you install the App on, and the permissions you grant via your S3 IAM credentials. We strongly advise users to:

  • Use restricted IAM access keys that only grant the permissions absolutely necessary (e.g., s3:ListBucket, s3:GetObject, s3:PutObject for specific buckets).
  • Avoid using root account credentials.
  • Secure your device with a PIN, password, or biometric lock.

6. Children's Privacy

Since our App does not collect any personal information from any user, it inherently does not collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since we have no way to contact you (as we do not collect email addresses or push notification tokens), we encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes.

8. Contact Us

If you have any questions or suggestions about our Privacy Policy, do not hesitate to contact the developer or open an issue on the project repository.
